Acne Cleanser - Acne Cream
The aisles of your local pharmacy are full of various popular brands of acne cleanser and acne cream, as well as cleansing bars, black head removal strips, scrubs, toners, masks, and more.
Everybody who purchases cleansers and creams hope that this time they'll actually get some benefit from them. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. If they don't the person usually ends up back at the store looking for the next acne miracle product and begins the cycle of hope all over again. All of this for clear and smooth skin!
The majority of teenagers treat these skin conditions with face washes specifically aimed to unblock pores. Face masks and skin treatments can also be used to treat acne and blemishes. It is extremely important however to find a product that suits your skin type. If you have sensitive skin, buy products aimed at being gentle that contain moisturizers. Although these products may be more expensive, cheaper variations can irritate acne and blemishes. This will result in the problem becoming a lot worse and you'll have wasted your time and money.

Big membership warehouse stores, like Sams Club and Costco often sell Neutrogena and other acne cleansers, acne creams or other acne products at a big discount. You have to buy several bottles or at least one great big one, but if you've already tried the product and know it works well for you it only makes sense to try to save money when you buy it. And, sometimes the large quantity you get at a warehouse discount score can actually end up costing less than the smaller bottle you might get at a supermarket or drugstore.
Homemade Acne Cleansers
In addition to what's on the market in the way of acne creams and cleansers and other proclaimed effective acne treatments are homemade concoctions, like adding oatmeal or cornmeal to plain yogurt, which makes both a gentle skin cleanser and a mild exfoliant. All you have to do is use 1/2 cup of either oatmeal or cornmeal and mix it with enough plain yogurt to make a paste. Be sure to keep it away from your eyes when you put it on your face. Rinse off with clean water. Oatmeal is a widely used skin care product because it acts as an absorbent while it helps keep your skin soft. You might also consider trying other acne natural cures or even holistic acne treatments.
A home made facial mask can be made with apples and honey. Grate one medium apple. Add about five tablespoons of honey. Again, you want to avoid getting any of the mixture in your eyes when you put it on your face and let it stay on your skin for 10 minutes. Rinse off with clean, cool water. This home remedy is a lot cheaper than a commercial facial mask and it really does help with oily skin problems.
